My passion has always been cooking.  I not only enjoy baking and cooking, but I love all other aspects of food.  The history of different cuisines, researching recipes, shopping, searching for that hard to find spice 
or ingredients as well as teaching others how to bake and cook.

I attended Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon.  I have also attended all the cooking, baking and pastry classes I could squeeze in during my life time. 

 

Cooking for my family was always a delight.  The more it pleased them the more it motivated me.  I especially loved baking and making food for special events and holidays.  My motto, if I have one, is serving others brings joy, and my service is cooking. 

I have virtually every cook book imaginable and reading them is my hobby.

About five years ago, I decided to turn my passion for food into a business and started "PETITS FOURS" Personal Chef Service.
